The client envisioned a seamless living space that balanced practicality and timeless design.
Scope of Work
Biruni Design approached the project by first understanding the needs of homeowners. The spatial flow was designed to accommodate large family gatherings and activities, ensuring flexibility without sacrificing cohesion. A refined palette of materials, including ceramics, oak, glass and accents of metals was selected to strike a balance between contemporary minimalism and warmth. Lighting played a critical role in the design, with a combination of natural skylights and lighting systems that highlight the living spaces while shaping the mood of the home. Furniture and display elements were designed and curated with a focus on simplicity, allowing the space to remain the central focus.
